California Commission on Health & Safety Workers' Compensation
The Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation is a joint labor-management body created by the workers' compensation reform legislation of 1993. The organization is charged with overseeing the health and safety and workers' compensation systems in California and recommending administrative or legislative modifications to improve their operation.
Labor Occupational Safety & Health Program (LOSH)
The UCLA Labor Occupational Safety and Health (UCLA-LOSH) Program is a nationally recognized center in Southern California for Spanish and English worker education and training in the area of workplace health and safety. UCLA LOSH partners with workers, unions, community-based organizations, academics and health professionals to improve environmental health and safety conditions for workers with a special emphasis on those in Southern California.

In September 2000, Assembly Bill 1599, representing a consensus recommendation from the California Partnership for Young Worker Health and Safety, established the California Resource Network for Young Worker Health and Safety. The goal of the resource network is to educate employers, educators, parents and teens about what they can do to prevent California's young workers from being injured or killed on the job.
UC Berkeley Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP)
LOHP is a community outreach program at the University of California, Berkeley addressing health and safety needs in nearly every industry, from healthcare to agriculture to construction. They provide health and safety publications and training for workers, unions, management, health professionals, and the general public.
The California Wellness Foundation (TCWF)
The California Wellness Foundation (TCWF) is an independent, private foundation created in 1992 with a mission to improve the health of the people of California by making grants for health promotion, wellness education and disease prevention.
