What are Refreshers?
Refresher courses are designed to improve and update WOSH Specialists and Trainers knowledge about key policies and health and safety issues. Topics for refreshers are selected based on follow up interactions with WOSH Specialists and Trainers where we learn about their interests, needs, and specific requests. Activities and topics are typically centered on developing technical knowledge and skills – in areas such as workers' compensation, Cal/OSHA and other legislative updates. In addition, refreshers provide an open dialogue for WOSH Specialists and Trainers to discuss accomplishments, challenges, and progress of actions taken in their workplaces.
