Safe Jobs for Youth Month
Each summer, thousands of young people entering the workforce are injured on the job. To combat this, LOSH organizes the public awareness campaign Safe Jobs for Youth Month in May each year to highlight the importance of injury prevention among teen workers.
What You Can Do

- Learn about other annual public awareness campaigns through the Department of Industrial Relations. Their program California Partnership for Young Workers' Health and Safety represents participating government agencies, educators, parents, employers, job trainers, and labor unions.
