William Hatch is the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Reponse (HAZWOPER) Project Director with UCLA-LOSH.
He retired from the L.A. County Fire Department after 30 years of service, with 15 years as a member of their Haz Mat Response Team. Mr. Hatch is still a member of local 1014 of the International Association of Fire Fighters. During his 30 years of fire service he earned instructor certification with the National Fire Academy in Emmitsberg, MD and California Specialized Training Institute in San Luis Obispo, CA for Hazardous Materials Subjects.
Mr. Hatch served as a part time staff member with LOSH in the early 90's and continues to use his expertise in training workers in the hazardous waste and materials field as the HAZWOPER Project Coordinator.
