Kevin Riley is Project Coordinator and Evaluator for the Western Region Universities Consortium Hazardous Waste/HazMat Training Project. He also provides consultation and support to other LOSH projects as needed.
Mr. Riley's background is in the area of community health. Prior to joining LOSH, he served as Co-Founder and Public Health Coordinator for the UCLA Mobile Clinic Project, where he conducted extensive program planning and evaluation, as well as training sessions for new clinic students and staff. His work with the clinic earned him both local and national recognition. He has also worked as Research and Evaluation Specialist for the Larkin Street Youth Center in San Francisco, and as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC.
Mr. Riley received his MPH from UCLA in 2001. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Sociology at UCLA. His dissertation focuses on fatigue and amphetamine use among long-haul truck drivers. Other areas of research have included the politics of needle exchange programs and changing levels of public support for welfare state provisions in the U.S.
