Deogracia Cornelio is the LOSH Associate Director of Education responsible for curriculum development, training and program evaluation.
A native Spanish speaker from the Dominican Republic, Ms. Cornelio holds a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies and Anthropology from the University of Florida. She has worked for many years in the areas of social service and social research, focusing on race, gender and class differences and their impact in intergroup communication, cultural and knowledge production. She has had extensive experience as a health educator, counselor; adult trainer; project coordinator and researcher and has had direct experience with popular education, participatory research and other methods to advance social justice issues.
